Emirates A380 Engine Explodes During Takeoff at Guarulhos
Emirates flight 262 from São Paulo’s Guarulhos Airport to Dubai was halted before takeoff due to an engine failure. Videos sent by passengers show a small explosion on the plane’s left wing.

The incident involving the A380-800 aircraft was captured using the vertical stabilizer camera displayed on the passenger seat screens, providing a detailed view of the event.
Emirates Accommodates Passengers in Hotel
Due to the flight cancellation, Emirates accommodated passengers in a hotel in Atibaia. According to unofficial sources, Emirates planned to rebook passengers on a flight to the same destination on Monday (17th). However, some passengers opted for alternative flights.
Despite the delay and the scare, none of the passengers on board were injured.
