Turkish Airlines’ (THY) flight TK-1808 from Lyon to Istanbul made an emergency landing in Tirana, the capital of Albania, due to a passenger’s disruptive behavior.
On the Boeing 737-800 aircraft with tail registration TC-JHK, which took off from Lyon, France, one of the passengers behaved inappropriately and caused a disturbance during the flight. Despite all warnings from the cabin crew, the passenger continued to be disruptive, endangering flight safety.
The pilot of the plane communicated the situation to the Tirana Airport Control Tower and requested permission for an emergency landing. After the plane landed, the disruptive passenger was removed from the aircraft, and the plane took off again to continue its journey to Istanbul.
