Shock Incident in Paris! Passenger Opens Emergency Exit Door and Jumps from Iberia Flight
An unexpected event occurred on Iberia Airlines flight IB578, traveling from Paris to Madrid, before takeoff. A young passenger attacked a flight attendant, opened the emergency exit door at the rear of the plane, and jumped out.
Panic Before Takeoff
The incident took place on February 7, 2025, at Paris Orly Airport while the Airbus A320neo, registered EC-NTA, was taxiing towards runway 07 for takeoff. Passengers heard a loud noise, and the captain quickly applied the brakes, bringing the plane to a stop. Police and ambulance teams were dispatched to the scene.
2-Hour Wait on Board
In an announcement to the passengers, the captain stated that this was the first time he had encountered such an incident in his career. The remaining passengers were disembarked after a two-hour wait and were accommodated in hotels.

Once the damage to the emergency exit door was repaired, the aircraft took off from Paris at 22:15 local time and landed in Madrid at 23:51 local time.
