A Ryanair flight originating from Agadir, Morocco, bound for London’s Stansted Airport, encountered an unexpected incident shortly after takeoff. The aircraft, at 30,000 feet altitude, faced a major dispute among passengers due to a family attempting to change seats, prompting the pilots to make an emergency decision to land in Marrakesh.

According to The Sun, tensions onboard were captured on video; panicked airline staff were seen trying to calm passengers while individuals shouted at each other. The situation escalated further when a passenger fell ill, requiring intervention from the cabin crew.

The tension began with a man asking a woman, seated with his daughter before takeoff, if he could take her seat. The situation escalated when the woman refused, leading to a confrontation. As other passengers got involved, a woman suffered a panic attack, and children began crying.

Upon landing in Marrakesh, police intervened, arresting nine passengers and ensuring the safety of the aircraft. However, one ill passenger refused to disembark and behaved aggressively towards the crew.

Ryanair stated that the incident occurred due to the crew reaching their maximum flight hours, necessitating passengers to be taken to hotels for the night. Although the flight was planned to resume the next day, it was eventually canceled, leaving passengers unable to reach the airport until Thursday evening.
