Russia Destroys Five Ukrainian SU-27 Fighter Jets!

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that they destroyed five Ukrainian SU-27 fighter jets and damaged two more in an attack on the Myrhorod military airbase in the Poltava region. The attack was part of Russia’s ongoing operations against Ukrainian airbases.

Footage Released

The Ministry released footage of the attack, showing smoke and flames rising from the military airbase.

Targeting SU-27 Fighter Jets

The Ministry stated, “As a result of the Russian attack, five active SU-27 multirole fighter jets were destroyed, and two jets were damaged.” Russia is targeting Ukrainian airbases at a time when Kyiv is preparing to receive its first U.S.-made F-16s and has expressed its determination to destroy these aircraft.
