Pushback Vehicle Caught Fire at the Airport
On Sunday, June 16, 2024, a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with registration F-GZNK, arriving from Tokyo to Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) Airport, experienced a pushback vehicle catching fire while being towed to the maintenance area. Firefighting teams acted quickly on the scene and managed to control the fire in a short time, preventing a potential disaster.
The incident occurred as the aircraft was being towed towards the maintenance area. For reasons yet unknown, the pushback vehicle suddenly caught fire. Firefighting vehicles quickly arrived at the scene and intervened. It was reported that there were no injuries and the aircraft was not damaged during the extinguishing of the fire.
