Historic Arm Flight from ANKA III and HÜRJET
Two significant products of the Turkish defense industry, the ANKA III unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and Turkey’s first jet-powered supersonic training aircraft HÜRJET, performed a formation flight together. This historic moment was announced through a post on the Turkish Aerospace Industries’ (TUSAŞ) social media account.

Developed by TUSAŞ, ANKA III and HÜRJET came together in the same flight, showcasing an impressive performance. During this flight, ANKA III completed its 8th sortie, while HÜRJET completed its 66th sortie.
Technical Details of the Flight
The formation flight lasted for 50 minutes, with both aircraft cruising at an altitude of 7,000 feet and a speed of 165 knots.
While the ANKA III UAV is notable for its long-endurance capabilities and advanced technological features, HÜRJET is designed to provide training at supersonic speeds.
The social media post by TUSAŞ included footage of this significant flight. The post stated, “ANKA III and HÜRJET met in the sky. We are delighted to share the successful flight of our two prides with you.”
