Full Support on the Ground from Turkish Airlines Chairman Ahmet Bolat to AJet Employees
Prof. Dr. Ahmet Bolat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Turkish Airlines and AJet, carried out a comprehensive operational visit at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, the main base of AJet. AJet General Manager Kerem Sarp and senior executives also took part in the visit.
Examining the operational processes of AJet, Türkiye’s youngest airline brand, on site, Bolat conducted evaluations at many points, from flight crew rooms to terminal areas, from the apron to the CIP lounge. Holding one-to-one meetings with ground teams, Bolat listened to employees’ operational experiences, needs and the challenges encountered in the field.

Detailed Review in the Operational Area
Within the scope of the visit, all areas where AJet conducts its operations were reviewed step by step. During meetings with ground teams, it was emphasised that the contribution of every employee who supports AJet’s growth process is of great importance. The management team also examined on site the passenger transport vehicles designed to reflect AJet’s brand identity and decorated with visuals of iconic structures from Türkiye and around the world.
It was stated that these visuals, ranging from Istanbul’s symbols to world cultural heritage sites, create a pleasant first point of contact for passengers and add dynamism to the brand. It was noted that positive feedback received from guests showed that this original design approach was a correct step.

Direct Interaction with Passengers
During the visit at Sabiha Gökçen Airport, conversations were also held with passengers travelling to different cities in Türkiye and to destinations around the world. Passengers’ positive and negative feedback was noted, and evaluations were made to enhance service quality.
Emphasising that the story carried by each passenger reinforces the meaning of the effort put into the aviation sector, Bolat stated that the dedication shown on the ground to provide 85 million guests a year with a safe and comfortable journey is gratifying.

“AJet and THY Are Türkiye’s Face to the World”
Stating that AJet and Turkish Airlines are not merely airline companies, Ahmet Bolat noted that both brands carry the mission of being Türkiye’s face to the world. With this awareness, he said that processes are continuously improved and that efforts are carried out with determination, aiming always to provide better service to guests.
In his year-end message, Bolat thanked all colleagues for their efforts and conveyed his wishes for health, peace and success in the new year.
