Bayraktar AKINCI UCAV hit its targets with full accuracy during test firings conducted with BOZOK and KAYI-30 munitions developed by TÜBİTAK SAGE. A new success in the domestic defence industry.
Developed by Baykar, the Bayraktar AKINCI Attack Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UCAV) successfully neutralised its targets during firing tests carried out with next-generation BOZOK and KAYI-30 munitions bearing the TÜBİTAK SAGE signature. These tests, of critical importance for the domestic and national defence industry, once again demonstrated Türkiye’s precision strike capability.

In his assessment of the test firings, President of Defence Industries Haluk Görgün stated:

Domestic and National Munitions from TÜBİTAK SAGE
Developed entirely with domestic and national resources by TÜBİTAK SAGE, the BOZOK and KAYI-30 munitions are optimised for UAV/UCAV platforms, offering operational flexibility and high precision.
BOZOK Munition: Light, Precise and Effective
BOZOK, which is in the class of laser-guided miniature munitions, was designed especially for UAV missions where weight is critical.

Warhead: Tungsten multi-fragment, effective against personnel and lightly armoured targets
Thanks to its light and compact structure, BOZOK provides precise strike capability in asymmetric warfare environments without putting friendly elements at risk.
KAYI-30: A New-Generation High-Precision Guided Munition
An important member of the KAYI Guided Miniature Munition Family, KAYI-30 stands out as a laser-guided free-fall air-to-ground munition.

Length: 100 cm
Range: 25 km
Guidance: Laser seeker head (IIR optional)
Warhead: Anti-personnel, armour-piercing or thermobaric options
CEP: Below 3 metres
With its modular structure and high precision, KAYI-30 fills a significant gap between MAM-L and MAM-T munitions.

These tests are considered an important milestone in the integration of domestic munitions into the Bayraktar AKINCI UCAV.
