TUSAŞ Chasing Records: $50 Billion Target Announced

TUSAŞ announced that it has carried out exports to 16 countries. While the company continues to grow in the global market with national platforms, especially KAAN, it aims to achieve 1,500 deliveries in 10 years.

TUSAŞ Continues to Grow in the Global Market

Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. (TUSAŞ) is strengthening its presence in the international arena through its production and export activities in the fields of defense and civil aviation. TUSAŞ General Manager Mehmet Demiroğlu made statements regarding the company’s production capacity, export agreements, and international collaborations.

Wide Product Range in National Platforms

Demiroğlu stated that TUSAŞ has developed many indigenous platforms, especially the 5th generation fighter jet KAAN.

It was noted that the company’s portfolio includes platforms such as HÜRJET, HÜRKUŞ, GÖKBEY, T129 ATAK, ANKA, AKSUNGUR, and ANKA-3.

Global Production in Civil Aviation

It was reported that TUSAŞ also operates in the field of civil aviation and manufactures parts for global producers such as Boeing, Airbus, and Sikorsky.

Demiroğlu stated that more than 10 million parts were produced in 2025 and that approximately $540 million in revenue was generated from these activities.

23 Export Agreements with 16 Countries

It was noted that TUSAŞ’s export network has expanded and that it has a total of 23 export agreements with 16 countries.

The sale of 48 KAAN fighter jets to Indonesia and the agreement with Spain for 30 HÜRJET aircraft were among the notable projects. It was also stated that negotiations for new collaborations with different countries are ongoing.

Cooperation with Azerbaijan Continues

Referring to the projects carried out with Azerbaijan, Demiroğlu stated that some parts of HÜRKUŞ are produced in this country and that Su-25 modernization works are ongoing.

It was reported that contract negotiations for HÜRKUŞ export have reached the final stage.

Young Engineers Are Being Integrated into the Ecosystem

According to the information provided regarding TUSAŞ’s human resources structure, approximately 40 percent of its employees consist of young people under the age of 30.

It was stated that the company has brought thousands of young engineers into the sector through internship, thesis, and graduate engineer programs, and that students are actively involved in projects within the scope of TEKNOFEST.

Target of 1,500 Platforms in 10 Years

Demiroğlu announced that within the scope of TUSAŞ’s long-term goals, it is planned to deliver approximately 1,500 air platforms within the next 10 years.

It was also stated that the company aims to reach an order volume of $50 billion.
