Critical Meeting for KAAN and National Platforms
An important step was taken for Türkiye’s defense industry projects at the HAVELSAN KAAN Technology Center within the Turkish Aerospace Industries Inc. campus.
The first synergy meeting focused on the national combat aircraft KAAN and other domestic platforms was carried out.
TUSAŞ and HAVELSAN Cooperation Strengthens
HAVELSAN General Manager Mehmet Akif Nacar stated in a social media post that cooperation with TUSAŞ continues to grow stronger.
Nacar noted that the meeting held at the center inaugurated by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan would further advance coordination between the two institutions.
Strategic Platforms Discussed
TUSAŞ General Manager Mehmet Demiroğlu and technical teams also attended the meeting.
During the discussions, projects including KAAN, HÜRJET, HÜRKUŞ, and GÖKBEY were addressed.
The parties evaluated ongoing collaborations on these platforms and discussed future objectives.
“Will Contribute to Global Goals”
In his statement, Nacar emphasized that the synergy created by HAVELSAN and TUSAŞ teams would make significant contributions both domestically and internationally.
The cooperation between the two institutions is expected to further strengthen TUSAŞ’s position among global platform manufacturers.
The statement also underlined that efforts to develop Türkiye’s domestic and national defense industry projects continue uninterrupted.
