The national jet trainer aircraft HÜRJET, developed by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), successfully completed low altitude and high speed tests conducted in Antalya, marking an important milestone in its development process.
Within the scope of the test program, two separate HÜRJET prototypes took part in the flights conducted in Antalya. During the program, a total of 18 sorties were performed, while the planned 79 test points were completed without any disruption.
Critical performance data obtained
During the test flights, critical data was collected particularly regarding the aircraft’s low altitude and high speed performance. Officials stated that the data obtained will make a significant contribution to expanding HÜRJET’s flight envelope and improving its operational capabilities.
It was emphasized that the conducted test activities represent one of the important stages in the aircraft’s development process.
Will strengthen the training capacity of the Turkish Air Force
The jet trainer aircraft HÜRJET, developed by Türkiye with national resources, aims to strengthen the pilot training capacity of the Turkish Air Force with its modern avionics systems, high maneuverability and advanced performance features.
It is planned that different flight tests will continue in the upcoming stages of the project.
