Sabiha Gökçen Airport will be illuminated in the colours of the Turkish flag on the 9th anniversary of July 15. HEAŞ General Manager Kacır stated, “July 15 is proof that Türkiye is impenetrable.”
HEAŞ to Light Up the Air Traffic Control Tower in the Colours of the Turkish Flag on the 9th Anniversary of July 15
HEAŞ, a subsidiary of the Presidency of Defence Industries, is marking the 9th anniversary of July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day with a meaningful tribute. The Air Traffic Control Tower at Sabiha Gökçen International Airport will be illuminated in the red and white colours of the Turkish flag on the night of July 15. Meanwhile, the terminal building will be decorated with Turkish flags by ISG, the terminal operator.
Meaningful Message from HEAŞ General Manager Faruk Kacır
Commenting on the 9th anniversary of July 15, HEAŞ General Manager Faruk Kacır stated:
“July 15 is the day the world heard loud and clear that Türkiye is impenetrable.” He added:
“July 15 marks the night when FETÖ traitors, who crawled out of their dark hiding places, were crushed. It is the dawn of an epic written through the courage of our noble nation, under the leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. On this historic day when our heroic people thwarted treacherous plans, we honour our martyrs with mercy and our veterans with gratitude.”
This symbolic lighting and flag decoration at Sabiha Gökçen Airport will bring the spirit of July 15 to life within the airport as well.
