Pegasus Airlines announced that it has extended the duration of flight cancellations to many countries due to increasing security risks in Middle Eastern airspace.
In the statement made by the company, it was emphasized that passenger safety is prioritised, and it was noted that operations have been temporarily suspended due to current conditions.
Cancellations to Continue Until April 30
According to information shared on Pegasus’s official website, flight cancellations have been expanded on certain routes.
Accordingly:
- Outbound flights are cancelled until April 30, 2026
- Return flights are cancelled until May 1, 2026
The cancellations cover flights to Iran, Iraq (Baghdad, Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Basra), Jordan (Amman), Lebanon (Beirut), Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar (Doha), Saudi Arabia (Dammam, Riyadh), and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah).
Free Change and Refund Rights for Passengers
The company announced that flexible rights have been granted to passengers affected by the cancellations.
Within this scope:
- Full refunds without deduction for tickets
- Free date change
- Option to open a ticket or cancel the reservation
Security Risks Are the Main Reason for the Decision
