According to Pegasus Airlines’ February 2026 traffic results, passenger numbers increased by 10% while a limited decline was observed in the load factor. Here are the detailed figures.
One of Türkiye’s leading airlines, Pegasus, has announced its traffic data for February 2026. The data indicates double-digit growth in passenger numbers, while a limited decline in load factors drew attention.
According to the data released by Pegasus, the total number of passengers reached 3.12 million in February 2026, marking a 10% increase compared to the same period last year. In the same period, the total number of flights (landings) was recorded as 17,028, reflecting a 13% increase.
While total seat capacity increased by 13%, the load factor decreased by 1.8 percentage points to 87.3%. Available Seat Kilometres (ASK) rose by 12% to 5,552 million kilometres.
Looking at the cumulative data covering the first two months of the year, the number of passengers reached 6.68 million with an 11% increase, while the total number of flights increased by 11% to 36,454.
Among the key performance indicators used in the aviation sector, Available Seat Kilometres (ASK) represents the total capacity offered by the airline, while Revenue Passenger Kilometres (RPK) reflects the passenger demand carried.
On the carbon emissions side, Pegasus uses a jet fuel emission factor of 3.16 for all periods. The company’s CO2 emission data is among the key indicators of its sustainability performance.
The data released by Pegasus points to a growth strategy parallel to capacity expansion. Despite the strong increase in passenger numbers, the limited decline in load factor indicates that the increase in supply is slightly ahead of demand.
The continued growth particularly in international operations shows that Pegasus is maintaining its expansion strategy in the international market. At the same time, the long-term downward trend in carbon emission rates points to a notable sustainability performance.
