Emirates Airlines announced that passengers holding Iranian passports will not be allowed to enter the UAE or transit through Dubai. The decision came into effect immediately.
Flight Restriction for Iranian Citizens Announced
In the announcement made by Emirates Airlines, it was stated that passengers holding Iranian passports will not be allowed to enter the United Arab Emirates or transit through the country.
According to the notice on the company’s official website, it was stated that the decision has come into effect and covers all Iranian citizens.
Transit via Dubai Airport Will Not Be Allowed
In the statement, it was expressed that the restriction in question also covers transit passages via Dubai International Airport.
It was noted that the decision is also valid for Iranian citizens holding a valid UAE residence visa and that these individuals will not be allowed to enter the airport.

Iranian Citizens Outside the Country Also Included
In the announcement, it was also stated that Iranian citizens who are currently outside the UAE are also banned from entering the country.
It was expressed that the implementation is expected to be included in official notifications to be made by the authorities.
No Statement from Official Authorities
On the other hand, it was reported that no statement has yet been made by the official authorities of the United Arab Emirates regarding the issue.
