Bayraktar KIZILELMA PT-3 Successfully Completes Tests

BAYKAR Technology has shared new test footage of the KIZILELMA PT-3, one of its pioneering projects in the defense industry, with the public. Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of BAYKAR’s Board of Directors, announced via his X account that the eagerly anticipated prototype has successfully passed its “Engine Start and Run Tests.”

Innovative Design and Powerful Engine

Unlike previous prototypes, the KIZILELMA PT-3 features an updated aerodynamic design and is equipped with the Al-322 F engine, showcasing superior performance throughout the testing process. This unmanned combat aircraft, powered by a turbofan engine and capable of evading radar detection, also stands out with its air-to-air missile capabilities.

Supersonic Capability with Afterburner Engine

The recently unveiled KIZILELMA PT-3 has been fitted with a new afterburner engine, providing supersonic flight capability and significantly boosting the project’s momentum. Developed with a budget of $1 billion, this unmanned combat aircraft is hailed as an engineering marvel by BAYKAR. The structural and design modifications made in the PT-3 configuration aim to enhance KIZILELMA’s capabilities on the battlefield.

BAYKAR continues to pave the way for new advancements in unmanned aerial vehicle technologies with the KIZILELMA PT-3.
