Due to adverse weather conditions affecting Istanbul, AJet cancelled 51 flights departing from and arriving at Sabiha Gökçen Airport. 11 flights were diverted to different airports.
Adverse Weather in Istanbul Affected Flights
According to a statement made by AJet Press Advisor Mehmet Yeşilkaya, the adverse weather conditions affecting Istanbul negatively impacted air transportation.
In line with the decision of the Meteorological Emergency Committee to restrict flights, a total of 51 services departing from and arriving at Sabiha Gökçen Airport were cancelled on Sunday, March 29.

11 Flights Diverted to Other Airports
The statement also noted that 11 flights were diverted to different airports on the same day. Authorities stated that, depending on the course of the weather conditions, new cancellations and diversions may occur, and that updates are being provided through all communication channels to prevent passengers from experiencing inconvenience.
