AJet announced that 64 flights scheduled for 1 January were cancelled due to ongoing adverse weather conditions affecting the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions.
The cancellation decision was announced to the public via social media by AJet Press Spokesperson Mehmet Yeşilkaya. In the statement, it was emphasised that flight safety is the top priority, and passengers were advised to check the latest flight information.
In his statement, Yeşilkaya said:
“Due to adverse weather conditions continuing in our Eastern and Southeastern regions, 64 of our flights scheduled for 1 January have been cancelled. Our guests can follow the latest status of their flights via ajet.com and our mobile application. We ask for your understanding and wish you a happy new year.”
