ALG Vacations Kindness Conference Raises Thousands for Charity

ALG Vacations welcomed travel professionals and industry partners to its fourth annual Kindness Conference and Kindness Connection, held July 13-17 at Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun. The event, part of the company’s year-round Kindness Movement, drew nearly 100 attendees for a week centered on three pillars: Kindness to Ourselves, Kindness to Others and Kindness in Travel.

“Kindness isn’t simply something we talk about at ALG Vacations. It’s a value that guides how we serve our advisors, their clients, our destinations and one another every day,” said Ray Snisky, Group President of ALG Vacations, in a press statement. “The Kindness Events bring that commitment to life by investing in people, strengthening communities and demonstrating the extraordinary impact our industry can have when we choose to lead with heart.”

ALG Vacations: Kindness is Front and Center

New for 2026, an evolved Kindness Coaches program turned keynote speakers and workshop leaders into coaches who stayed engaged with attendees throughout the week rather than delivering a single presentation. Coaches took part in networking events, wellness activities and small-group discussions, creating more room for mentorship and conversation.

This year’s coaches and keynote speakers included Houston Kraft, Spencer West, Joze Piranian and other wellness and leadership experts, who led sessions on leadership, resilience, wellness, communication and personal growth.

“One of our biggest goals this year was creating more opportunities for attendees to learn from and build relationships with our speakers,” said Jacki Marks, Global Head of Trade Sales & Engagement of ALG Vacations, in a press statement. “By evolving our Kindness Coaches program, we’ve created an experience that extends far beyond the stage, fostering meaningful conversations and relationships that continue long after the event concludes.”

Community impact remained central to the week. This year’s giveback initiatives supported Fundacion Teleton and Fundacion AITANA, organizations serving children and families facing cancer, disabilities and other critical health needs in Mexico. Attendees and partners contributed monetary and in-kind donations collected throughout the week.

To date, the Kindness Events donation campaign has raised more than $10,500, exceeding the original fundraising goal by 140 percent. The funds will provide treatment and care for children supported through Fundacion AITANA and help expand access to services for additional families. Attendees also donated thousands of pounds of supplies, including school items, hygiene products, toys and more than 100 packs of diapers, distributed by both organizations. Visits to Fundacion Teleton and Fundacion AITANA included activities meant to build understanding of the experiences of people living with disabilities.

The week also included wellness sessions, leadership development, peer collaboration, an intention-setting ceremony, coach-led networking, professional headshots and reflection sessions, all built around a spirit of community over competition. The Kindness Events remain the centerpiece of ALG Vacations’ year-round Kindness Movement, which includes Kindness Contributions, advisor-led giveback initiatives, voluntourism experiences and community partnerships.
