An Airbus Beluga XL diverted to South Ayrshire after thick fog prevented the large aircraft from reaching Hawarden Airport in Flintshire.
The BelugaXL5 had been flying from Toulouse when poor visibility disrupted its approach to the North Wales airport on Tuesday, September 22.
The aircraft is part of Airbus’ fleet and is used to transport oversized components between European manufacturing sites.
