Historic Order in Aviation Engines
With a new export order worth USD 2.95 billion secured from abroad, TEI has once again demonstrated that Türkiye is among the world’s leading centres for high value-added engine production technologies. The agreement covers the production of parts and maintenance, repair and overhaul services for 22 different engine programmes widely used in global civil and military aviation. Deliveries are planned to begin in 2026.
Total Order Volume Reaches USD 8.2 Billion
With the newly received order, TEI’s total order volume has risen to USD 8.2 billion. This figure is regarded as a concrete indicator of the company’s high level of engineering capability, production discipline, and globally established reliability in the field of aviation engines.

Haluk Görgün: “Türkiye Is One of the Global Engine Production Centres”
Commenting on the export success, President of Defence Industries Prof. Dr Haluk Görgün made the following remarks:
“As we leave 2025 behind with record achievements, the first major export success of 2026 has come with TEI’s signature. The USD 2.95 billion order secured from abroad is a strong confirmation that Türkiye is among the world’s leading centres for high value-added engine production technologies.”
Görgün emphasised that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s approach of addressing the defence and aviation industries as an integrated ecosystem played a decisive role in this success, stating that thanks to long-term policies, determined support mechanisms and export-oriented strategies, the sector has gained a structure capable of competing on a global scale.

Congratulations to the TEI Family
Prof. Dr Görgün also congratulated TEI’s engineers, technicians and all employees who contributed to this major success, noting that the export achievement is a strong reflection of Türkiye’s vision for sustainable growth in the defence and aviation industries.
