The statement mentioned that the F-35 was a test jet equipped with Technology Refresh 2 (TR-2) and was being transferred to Edwards Air Base for additional test equipment modifications. Lockheed Martin stated, “Safety is our priority, and we will follow appropriate investigation protocols.”
Pilot’s Condition Stable
