Antalya-based Southwind Airlines has launched flights to Krasnodar. While the first flight was welcomed with a ceremony, the weekly number of flights will be increased to 6 as of April 26.
Antalya-based airline Southwind Airlines has started direct flights to the city of Krasnodar, located in southern Russia. The new route aims to strengthen air connectivity between the two cities.
First Flight Welcomed with Ceremony
A ceremony was held at Antalya Airport as part of the inaugural flight. The Boeing 737-8 MAX aircraft was welcomed with a water salute at the airport, while special treats were offered to passengers and commemorative certificates were distributed.
Flight Frequency Increasing
According to a statement by Southwind Airlines, flights between Antalya and Krasnodar will initially be operated twice a week. As of April 26, the number of flights will be increased to six per week.
