According to DHMİ data, Antalya Airport served 1 million 74 thousand passengers in January. 7 thousand 915 flights and 12 thousand 292 tons of cargo were handled.
Air traffic in Antalya, one of Türkiye’s tourism capitals, did not slow down even during the winter season. The General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMİ) shared Antalya Airport’s January passenger, aircraft and cargo statistics with the public.
Busy Period Continues in the Winter Season
The statistics published by DHMİ showed that both domestic and international flights continued at a certain level of intensity during the winter period. Cargo transportation figures in particular indicated that commercial activities and logistics mobility in Antalya continued.
Antalya Airport serving over 1 million passengers in the first month of the year marked a strong start in air traffic ahead of the 2026 tourism season.
