A First at Sabiha Gökçen Airport: AI-Powered Digital Assistant SAVVy Now in Service

A new digital assistant has been launched to transform the passenger experience at ISG – Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport. SAVVy stands out as the first generative AI-based customer service application implemented at an airport in Türkiye.

Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (ISG) is leading a digital transformation that redefines the passenger experience. Developed in collaboration with Softtech Intelligence, the AI-powered digital assistant named SAVVy marks Türkiye’s first use of generative AI in airport customer service.

24/7 Support in Turkish and English

SAVVy offers uninterrupted service in both Turkish and English, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, providing instant and accurate answers to frequently asked passenger questions. The system gives quick access to essential travel details such as flight information and parking status, helping passengers save time and better manage stress.

Personalised and Fast Service with AI

Powered by generative AI technology, SAVVy goes beyond providing pre-set answers by generating context-aware, personalised responses tailored to individual passenger needs. In this way, it surpasses the capabilities of traditional chatbots, significantly enhancing customer satisfaction and engagement.

An Innovation First in Airport Services

As the first AI-powered customer service application at a Turkish airport, SAVVy represents a major innovation in the industry. Developed as part of ISG’s digitalisation vision, the system positions itself as a forward-thinking step in elevating the passenger experience within the aviation sector.

“We Are Shaping Not Only Today but Also the Future”

In a statement regarding the launch, ISG officials emphasised the following:

“With SAVVy, we are offering our passengers a smarter, faster, and more personalised experience. Developed in collaboration with Softtech Intelligence, this system is not only meeting today’s needs but also designing the airport experience of the future. Our investments in technology will continue to strengthen our commitment to sustainable service.”
