Organized in collaboration between the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of Türkiye, the Air Cargo Summit will open its doors in Antalya from April 9 to 11. The summit marks ICAO’s first-ever global cargo summit.
The event is expected to bring together more than 500 senior representatives from civil aviation authorities, airlines, airports, and global logistics companies from over 75 countries.
Air Cargo Transportation to Be Addressed
The summit will cover key topics such as the impact of air cargo on the transportation sector, digitalization, the rise of e-commerce, sustainable logistics solutions, and the liberalization of air cargo rights. Increasing international cooperation and developing joint strategies are also among the summit’s primary goals.
Türkiye on the Path to Becoming a Global Cargo Hub
With the activation of Istanbul Airport, Türkiye has emerged as a notable player not only in passenger transportation but also in air cargo. Hosting this major event will further strengthen Türkiye’s strategic position in logistics and reinforce its global aviation vision.
