High Demand and Orders for Falcon 6X in Turkey

The Falcon 6X, the latest design from French aviation and defense giant Dassault, is rapidly gaining interest in Turkey. This long-range business jet, which entered service last year, stands out for its twin-engine configuration and having the widest cabin in the world. Dassault received type certification for the Falcon 6X from both the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the American Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in August 2023.

The Falcon 6X is equipped with features that bring innovation to the business jet market. The cabin has a width of 2.58 meters and a height of 1.98 meters. Additionally, the cabin is illuminated with natural light thanks to the 30 windows onboard. This model offers high comfort and is an ideal choice for long-distance flights with a range of 5,500 nautical miles (approximately 10,175 kilometers).

The Falcon 6X is powered by Pratt & Whitney Canada PW812D series engines and has a cruising speed of 0.9 Mach. Moreover, the cockpit features the 4th generation of EaSY technology, which reduces pilot workload and enhances flight safety.

It has been reported that two well-established companies in Turkey have ordered the Falcon 6X and will be receiving their jets soon. The approximate price of the aircraft is said to be $50 million. The Falcon business jets are represented in Turkey by Soylu Aviation, based in Ankara. With these developments, the Falcon 6X continues to be a prestigious option for the Turkish business community.
