Bahrain-based Gulf Air has announced that it will resume flights to Istanbul as of April 8.

Flights Will Be Operated via Dammam

The company will continue its operations through an alternative departure point due to the closure of Bahrain’s airspace. In this context, it was reported that the flights will be operated from Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

Flight Days Determined

According to the statement, flights to Istanbul will be operated twice a week. It was stated that the flights are scheduled for Wednesdays and Saturdays.

King Fahd International Airport Will Be Used

It was noted that the flights will be organized via King Fahd International Airport. Due to regional airspace restrictions, this airport will be used as a temporary operational hub.

New Destinations Added to the Flight Network

It was reported that Gulf Air has expanded its flight network due to regional airspace restrictions. In this context, destinations such as Athens and Thiruvananthapuram were also added to temporary routes.
