TUSAŞ General Manager Mehmet Demiroğlu was elected as chairman at the General Assembly of the Defence and Aerospace Industry Exporters’ Association. The meeting addressed the sector’s objectives.
General Assembly Meeting Held
The 2026 Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the Turkish Defence and Aerospace Industry Exporters’ Association was held with the participation of Haluk Görgün.
During the meeting, the current state of the defence and aerospace sector, future targets, and export-oriented collaborations were discussed.
Mehmet Demiroğlu Elected as Chairman
As a result of the election held within the scope of the general assembly, Mehmet Demiroğlu was elected as the chairman of the association.
Demiroğlu thanked the association members for their support and stated that they will work to take the sector further in the new term.
Emphasis on Export and Global Growth
Mehmet Demiroğlu underlined Türkiye’s determination to maintain its rise in the defence and aerospace sector, stating that efforts will continue in line with the goal of becoming a stronger global player.
Sectoral Collaborations Discussed
It was reported that evaluations were made during the meeting on strategies to increase exports and on improving international collaborations.
The discussions held with the participation of sector representatives are expected to contribute to the roadmap for the upcoming period.
