President of Defense Industries Haluk Görgün stated that defense and aerospace exports totaled 803 million dollars in March 2026, and that an increase was recorded in the first quarter of the year.

Haluk Görgün shared the export data for March 2026 regarding the defense and aerospace sector.
Accordingly:
- March 2026 exports: 803 million dollars
- Exports for the January–March 2026 period: 1 billion 910 million dollars
It was stated that exports increased by 12.1% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Emphasis on Growth
Haluk Görgün stated that the defense and aerospace industry continues its steady growth.
It was noted that this growth is supported by a strong production infrastructure, increasing international collaborations, and an expanding market network.
Impact of the National Technology Initiative
The statement emphasized that the sector continues to develop in line with the National Technology Initiative and the National Competency Initiative led by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
In this context, it was stated that export performance is expected to increase further in the coming period.
