Mehmet Yeşilkaya, the Editor-in-Chief of Habertürk, announced that he is stepping down from his position by his own choice and will begin a new role as the Press Counselor for A Jet.
A Jet, which has recently faced a loss of prestige due to delays, is bringing Yeşilkaya on board. Yeşilkaya began his career at Flash TV in 1997 and rose to the position of Editor-in-Chief at Habertürk, where he started in 2013.

Throughout his career, Yeşilkaya has worked as an editor at CNN Türk, TV Net, A Haber, and Habertürk. In May 2014, he served as the news director for 24 TV. He later returned to Habertürk, transferred to TRT, and also worked at Show TV. At Habertürk, he held roles as TV Broadcast Coordinator and Editor-in-Chief. Yeşilkaya announced his farewell to Habertürk via social media, revealing that his new position will be with A Jet.
