- Bahrain will be the first destination served by Emirates’ A350 aircraft, offering Premium Economy seats for the first time on regional routes within the Middle East/Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
- Emirates Premium Economy seats will be available on sale on 42 flight routes* until February 2025.
Emirates has revealed the initial destinations where its A350 aircraft, set to commence operations in September 2024, will fly. Emirates expects to add 10 new A350 aircraft to its fleet by March 31, 2025. The airline will operate flights to 9 destinations with its newest aircraft type in the coming months, offering passengers a unique experience with its latest cabins.
Emirates will offer three cabin classes on its 10 A350 aircraft: 32 Next-Generation Business Class seats, 21 Premium Economy seats, and 259 comfortable and spacious Economy Class seats. These aircraft, starting with Bahrain as the first destination, are allocated to serve short- and medium-haul cities within Emirates’ flight network.
With the introduction of the first A350 aircraft into its fleet, Emirates will provide passengers with more opportunities to experience Premium Economy and Next-Generation Business Class seats, which have received great acclaim on short- and medium-haul routes in the Middle East, Gulf Cooperation Council Region, Western Asia, and Europe.

The airline’s aircraft with the newest cabins will begin servicing the following cities:
In the Middle East and Gulf Cooperation Council Region:
• Emirates will commence its first daily A350 flight to Bahrain from September 15 with flight EK839/840. The frequency of A350 flights will gradually increase to cover two Bahrain flights, with the second flight starting on November 1.
• Emirates will operate its first daily A350 flight to Kuwait on September 16 with flight EK853/854.
• The daily EK866/867 flight to Muscat will be operated with the A350 starting from December 1.
In Western Asia:
• Emirates will commence its A350 service to Mumbai with flight EK502/503 from October 27.
• The daily flight EK538/539 to Ahmedabad will be operated with the A350 starting from October 27.
• Colombo’s fourth daily flight EK654/655 will be operated with the A350 from January 1, 2025.
In Europe:
• Emirates will operate daily A350 service to Lyon from December 1.
• A350 flights to Bologna will commence from December 1.
• Edinburgh will rejoin the Emirates network with A350 flights from November 4. More details will be shared soon.
Emirates will announce more flight destinations in the coming months as new aircraft join its fleet.
A350 flights offered for sale by Emirates can be booked on emirates.com, Emirates App, or through travel agents.
Passengers will experience the comfort of the A350’s spacious and quiet cabin with high ceilings, as well as customized ambient lighting designed to reduce fatigue and jet lag. Other features and cabin details of Emirates A350 seats will be announced in the coming months.
Emirates has placed orders for 65 A350-900 aircraft. All of Emirates’ orders are carefully planned to support the airline’s future growth as well as to support Dubai’s D33 economic agenda, which aims to add 400 cities to Dubai’s external trade map over the next decade, as prepared by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
*Premium Economy class is available on A380, B777, and A350 aircraft.
