Global aviation giant Embraer achieved a 47% year-on-year growth by delivering 44 aircraft in the first quarter of 2026. Significant increases were noted in commercial, executive aviation, and defense segments.
Strong Increase in Deliveries in Q1 2026
Embraer, one of the leading companies in the aviation and aerospace industry, delivered a total of 44 aircraft in the first quarter of 2026. This represents a 47% increase compared to the 30 aircraft delivered in the same period of 2025.
The progress made in the company’s production leveling initiatives was among the key drivers of this growth.
43% Increase in Commercial Aviation Segment
The commercial aviation unit delivered a total of 10 new jets in the first quarter of 2026. Among the delivered aircraft was the Embraer E195-E2, the company’s largest model in production within this segment.
Deliveries in this segment increased by 43% compared to the 7 aircraft delivered in the same period of 2025.
Strong Demand for Business Jets
The Executive Aviation (business jet) segment delivered 29 jets during the period, demonstrating a notable performance. This marks a 26% increase compared to the 23 aircraft delivered in the same period last year.
Strong demand for light and midsize jets was the main factor supporting growth across the segment.
Notable Surge in Defense and Security
In the defense and security segment, the company delivered a total of 5 aircraft. These included 1 KC-390 Millennium and 4 A-29 Super Tucano aircraft.
The fact that no deliveries were made in this segment during the same period of the previous year made this increase even more remarkable.
2026 Delivery Targets Announced
Embraer also shared its delivery expectations for the full year 2026. Accordingly:
- 80 to 85 aircraft deliveries are expected in commercial aviation
- 160 to 170 aircraft deliveries are projected in executive aviation
A mid-point annual growth of approximately 6% is targeted in both segments.
