Baykar and the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) have launched the “Palestine Joint Scholarship Program” for Palestinian students who will study in Türkiye. Under the program, Baykar will cover scholarships, accommodation, transportation, and all essential educational expenses for 200 Palestinian students in 2026.
Baykar and YTB Launch Joint Scholarship Program for Palestinian Students
Baykar and the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) signed a cooperation protocol for the “Palestine Joint Scholarship Program” to support Palestinian students studying under the Türkiye Scholarships program. Under the protocol signed during a ceremony held at the Özdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center, 200 Palestinian students will benefit from higher education scholarships in Türkiye starting in 2026.
The partnership aims to support Palestinian students’ access to academic education in Türkiye and to cover their essential expenses throughout their education.

The cooperation protocol for the “Palestine Joint Scholarship Program” was officially signed during a ceremony held at the Özdemir Bayraktar National Technology Center.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Baykar Chairman of the Board Selçuk Bayraktar and President of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities Abdulhadi Turus.
The program stands out as one of the latest examples of public-private sector cooperation aimed at supporting Palestinian students who will study under the Türkiye Scholarships program.
200 Palestinian Students to Be Supported in 2026
Under the protocol, Palestinian students enrolled in associate degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and doctoral programs in Türkiye will be included in the scholarship program.
According to the 2026 plan:
- 160 undergraduate students
- 30 master’s students
- 10 doctoral students
A total of 200 Palestinian students will benefit from the program.
Baykar to Cover All Essential Educational Expenses
Under the program, Baykar will finance all scholarship payments, accommodation expenses, round-trip airline tickets, and other program-related costs that students will require throughout their education.
Through this support, the program aims to enable students to continue their education under stronger conditions while also strengthening educational cooperation between Türkiye and Palestine.
Cooperation Under the Türkiye Scholarships Program Expands
The newly launched Palestine Joint Scholarship Program adds a new dimension to the international educational support provided under the Türkiye Scholarships umbrella. Through the program, Palestinian students are expected to have both their academic and social needs met while pursuing higher education at institutions in Türkiye.
