Having been named “Europe’s Best Social Responsibility Project Team” consecutively in 2019 and 2020 by EuroLeague for its previous initiatives, Anadolu Efes carried out its 2024–2025 season One Team project in Antalya in partnership with Corendon Tourism Group, ZİÇEV (Foundation for the Education and Protection of Mentally Handicapped Children), and Muratpaşa Municipality.
Gloria Cup, one of the most prestigious preparatory tournaments in European basketball, is being held this year at Gloria Sports Arena from September 6–15. Bringing together many strong teams from Turkey and Europe, the tournament offers basketball fans the opportunity to watch important matches ahead of the new season.
Within this context, Anadolu Efes Sports Club, present in Antalya for the Gloria Cup, welcomed ZİÇEV students on September 11 to the blue-and-white team’s training session. The visit was part of the EuroLeague social responsibility program One Team and was sponsored by Corendon Tourism Group, providing an unforgettable day for the students.
Special athletes from ZİÇEV joined Anadolu Efes players and coaching staff on the court, participating in basketball drills, shooting exercises, and enjoying fun moments together. Team captain Rodrigue Beaubois engaged closely with the children, chatting with them and highlighting basketball’s values of sharing, solidarity, and self-confidence.
This special visit, made possible with the support of Corendon Tourism Group, aims to raise social awareness as part of Anadolu Efes’s ongoing One Team initiatives. Twice recognized by EuroLeague as “Europe’s Best Social Responsibility Project Team,” Anadolu Efes continues to contribute to the personal and social development of special athletes through the One Team program.
