The American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA) has opened member voting for the 2027 ASTA Globes, giving members a chance to recognize agencies and industry partners for their contributions to the profession. Voting runs through October 23, 2026.
The awards ceremony returns to the Palmer House in downtown Chicago on Jan. 21, 2027, following its inaugural staging in 2026. The invitation-only event will recognize standout achievements in service, leadership and industry partnership.
“The inaugural ASTA Globes demonstrated how much this community values the opportunity to celebrate its own,” said Zane Kerby, ASTA President and CEO, in a press statement. “As we prepare to return to Chicago, we are once again placing the decision in the hands of ASTA members. Their votes will recognize the professionals and partners whose work is shaping a stronger future for travel advisors.”
ASTA members can submit nominations for the member and organization award categories and cast votes for the supplier awards through an online ballot. Categories recognize excellence in client service, professional leadership, community engagement and industry support. Winners will be announced at the ceremony and presented with custom crystal awards. The 2027 Emerging Leaders Awards, sponsored by Travefy, will also be presented during the event, recognizing rising leaders in the industry.
ASTA created the Globes to give the community a dedicated occasion to recognize excellence within its ranks, complementing the organization’s year-round work to strengthen industry relationships and advance the profession.
Of note: ASTA has secured a hotel block at the Palmer House, located at 17 East Monroe Street in Chicago, with guestroom rates starting at $155 per night for stays from Jan. 19 to 21, 2027. The booking deadline is Dec. 20, 2026.
