It has been revealed that Turkish businessman Onur Aksoy, operating in the United States, defrauded the US military out of millions of dollars with fake F-15, F-18, and F-22 parts. These counterfeit parts were determined to be installed in critical systems of warplanes.

The US Air Force discovered that through numerous companies established with fake identities and documents, counterfeit parts were sold. It was announced that these counterfeit parts, which endangered flight safety, posed a serious security risk.

Authorities reported that following the investigation, Aksoy was arrested and sentenced to 6 years in prison, along with a decision for him to pay millions of dollars in compensation.
