Turkish Airlines (THY) has adopted a new planning approach for its U.S. operations, deciding to reduce the number of flights to four major cities in response to shifts in demand. With this strategic move, the airline aims to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen profitability, and reallocate capacity to routes experiencing higher demand.
According to reports in the U.S. press, THY is preparing to cut frequencies on its Denver, New York, San Francisco, and Seattle routes. The airline has officially notified travel agencies of these changes.

THY’s frequency reduction is seen as part of a strategy to adapt to changing travel trends and shift capacity to destinations with stronger demand. The airline also plans to increase flights to U.S. destinations where demand remains high.
