Turkish Airlines (THY) is adding another destination to its expanding flight network. The THY Board of Directors has decided to launch scheduled flights to Santiago, the capital of Chile. This decision was made based on opportunities and market conditions.
THY Chairman Ahmet Bolat made a brief statement regarding the matter, saying, “If permits are granted in time, Chile will become the 131st country in our flight network by December of this year. I wish for it to be prosperous and successful in advance.”
Turkish Airlines’ global flight network will further expand, offering passengers more travel options. Flights to Santiago will create a significant opportunity for both business and leisure travelers.
