Turkish Airlines (THY) CEO Bilal Ekşi made statements regarding the company’s 2033 vision. Ekşi said that THY plans to become one of the world’s top five airlines with a massive fleet of 813 aircraft.
Turkish Airlines has been gradually implementing the 2033 strategic plan it announced in 2022. In a post on his social media account, THY CEO Bilal Ekşi stated, “THY is advancing step by step toward its goals. We set the target of having a fleet of 813 aircraft in 2022. Our national pride, THY, will, God willing, be among the world’s top five airlines by 2033. We, the Turkish people, are proud.”
Fleet Growth and Global Leadership Goal
By reaching a fleet of 813 aircraft by 2033, THY aims not only to be a regional power but also a global leader. The company currently flies to more than 120 countries, holding the title of “the airline that flies to the most countries in the world.”
THY’s 2033 vision includes the following objectives:
