Double-Digit Growth in December 2025

THY’s performance in December 2025 revealed a strong year-end finish. In December:

  • The number of international-to-international transfer passengers rose by 13.5% to 3.17 million,
  • Total cargo and mail transportation increased by 17% to 190 thousand tonnes.

International Routes Became the Engine of Growth

In 2025, international routes were the main driver of growth. The number of international passengers rose by 11.3% to 60.7 million, while domestic passenger numbers increased by 4.5% to 31.9 million.

Notable passenger growth by region was as follows:

  • Africa: 20.7%

  • Far East: 13.2%
  • Europe: 9.4%
  • North America: 6.2%

Load factors also increased, particularly on Far East (86.4%) and Europe (80.4%) routes.

Cargo Transportation and Operational Expansion

In 2025, THY carried 2 million 137 thousand tonnes of cargo and mail, achieving an increase of 8.9% in this segment. While the total number of flights exceeded 570 thousand, the company operated:

  • A fleet of 516 aircraft,
  • Flights to 356 destinations,
  • A total flight distance of 1.23 million kilometres.

Rising flight hours and seat capacity indicated that THY continued to expand its global network in a stable manner.

Investor Confidence and Sustainable Growth

The data announced by Turkish Airlines demonstrated that, with high load factors, strong transfer traffic and growth in cargo revenues, the company maintained its strategy of operational efficiency and sustainable growth in 2025.

With both its main brand and AJet operations, the company continues to strengthen its position in the global aviation market.
