Turkish Airlines (THY) has canceled several international flights due to adverse weather conditions and safety concerns. In a statement from THY’s Press Office, disruptions were reported for flights to Havana, Cuba; Krakow, Poland; and Baghdad, Iraq. The statement noted that certain flights to these destinations were canceled due to unfavorable weather conditions.
The canceled flights include Istanbul-Havana (TK 183), Havana-Caracas (TK 183), Caracas-Istanbul (TK 183), Istanbul-Krakow-Istanbul (TK 1721-1722), and Istanbul-Baghdad-Istanbul (TK 302-303). THY announced plans for additional flights to Krakow if weather conditions improve, specifically Istanbul-Krakow (TK 6900) and Krakow-Istanbul (TK 6901).
Mozambique Flights Canceled Due to Security Concerns
The statement also mentioned that flights to Johannesburg and Maputo were canceled due to political unrest in Mozambique. These cancellations include TK 38 Johannesburg-Maputo and TK 39 Maputo-Johannesburg, both canceled for safety reasons.

THY advised affected passengers to check their flight status on THY’s official website or mobile app. The airline assured that necessary measures have been taken to minimize disruptions and ensure that passengers experience minimal inconvenience.
