With the announcement published in the Official Gazette, the tourism cooperation agreement between Turkey and the Republic of Rwanda has come into effect.
According to the agreement, the two countries will enhance and support the activities of professionals and other institutions operating in the tourism sector to promote investment and initiatives in tourism. Additionally, both countries will inform their investors about tourism investment opportunities in each other’s countries.
The two countries will collaborate on tourism marketing by organizing familiarization trips for travel writers, journalists, film crews, tour operators, airline representatives, and public officials. Furthermore, both countries will participate in festivals and events that promote their tourism potential and attractions.
Moreover, the two countries will exchange information in the field of tourism education, benefit from the experiences of experts in vocational tourism training, and collaborate on vocational tourism training programs for personnel working in accommodation and food and beverage establishments.
According to the agreement, Turkey and Rwanda will share information and statistical data in the field of tourism and exchange experiences on improving the quality and standardization of tourism facilities.
