Turkish Airlines’ joint venture with Lufthansa, SunExpress, introduced its Boeing 737-800 model aircraft with a special design inspired by the popular sci-fi series “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.”
Featuring the appearance of “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds,” a series that has been eagerly followed since 2022 and is preparing to meet its fans with its third season next year, the TC-SPO registered aircraft made its maiden flight from Antalya to Berlin.
Skytrax awarded SunExpress as “Europe’s Best Holiday Airline” in 2023. SunExpress has previously featured characters from many successful productions such as Kung Fu Panda, Minions, X-Men: Dark Phoenix, The Grinch, Smurfs, Peter Rabbit, PAW Patrol, and SpongeBob SquarePants on its aircraft designs.
