Prominent businessman and Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Turkey, Salim Saifullah Khan, has called for utilizing Turkey’s expertise in the privatization process of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
In his statement, Khan highlighted Turkish Airlines as a success story in operating airlines of other countries, emphasizing that the successful operational capabilities of Turkish Airlines could effectively manage the national flag carrier.
This proposal underscores the longstanding friendly relations between Pakistan and Turkey. Salim Saifullah Khan believes that handing over PIA to Turkey would not only ensure efficient management but also strengthen the bilateral ties between the two brotherly Islamic countries.
