Hydraulic Failure on Tokyo-Singapore Flight: Polar Air Cargo Aircraft Returns

Polar Air Cargo’s registered N858GT Boeing 747-8 freighter aircraft, operating a flight from Tokyo Narita (Japan) to Singapore (Singapore), reported a hydraulic issue while flying over the Philippine Sea.

The aircraft decided to return to Tokyo and safely landed on runway 16R at Narita Airport. However, after returning, the aircraft remained on the ground in Tokyo for approximately 9 hours.
