Ahmet Bolat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Turkish Airlines, announced that Turkish Airlines, with 71 weekly flights, AJet with 49, and SunExpress with 41, are connecting the entire Çukurova region, including Adana and Mersin, to the world via Istanbul and Ankara. The airlines, offering a total of 161 flights per week, aim to reach an annual passenger capacity of 9 million. Additionally, there are plans to rapidly increase the number of international destinations served from Adana, currently at 10.
Bolat expressed gratitude to the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and all stakeholders involved in bringing this large and modern airport to the country. He wished the new airport to be beneficial for both the nation and the Çukurova region.
