SeaWorld Orlando Celebrates America’s 250th with BBQ Summer Experience

For travelers looking to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary at a theme park, SeaWorld Orlando is adding a new reason to visit this summer with the debut of Red, White & BBQ, a celebration honoring America’s birthday through regional flavors, live entertainment and family-friendly experiences.

Running weekends until Aug. 23, the event brings together barbecue traditions from across the country, more than 150 beer selections, festive entertainment and seasonal activities designed for visitors of all ages.

A Taste of America Through Regional BBQ

Red, White & BBQ  highlights iconic barbecue styles from Kansas City, Texas, Memphis, Louisiana and the Carolinas. Food stations throughout the park will showcase regional specialties, including BBQ ribs, creamy potato salad, smoked sausage, smoked turkey sandwiches, pulled pork sliders and an array of desserts.

Beyond the food, SeaWorld Orlando will feature pop-up entertainment, photo opportunities and interactive experiences throughout the park. Guests can cool down with more than 150 brews featuring Florida craft selections and American favorites, along with specialty cocktails, mocktails and summer beverages available throughout the park.

Red, White & BBQ joins SeaWorld Orlando’s broader summer lineup. Guests can experience attractions, animal encounters and end-of-day entertainment during Electric Ocean, featuring nighttime presentations, live performances, a new drone show and fireworks.
