An incident on a flight from Alicante, Spain, to Munich on Wednesday led to police intervention. Federal Police at Munich Airport were called into action after a man and a woman engaged in sexual activity in front of other passengers.
According to the Federal Police’s statement, a 44-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman engaged in sexual acts during the flight, disturbing other passengers. When airline staff intervened, the couple responded with harassment and aggressive behavior towards the staff.
Upon reporting the incident, Federal Police teams at Munich Airport prepared to address the situation after the plane landed. Police officers boarded the aircraft, warned the couple, and instructed them to cease their sexual activity.
Bavarian state police have launched an investigation into the couple on charges of public nuisance. Such incidents cause significant discomfort among passengers and airline staff and necessitate legal action.
